Heart Race 03:50
She heard his footsteps in the hallway she saw the darkness of his silhouette her own reflection in the knife but he hasn’t found her hiding yet She puts her back against the wall oh yeah, she’s scared if she hides herself then maybe she’ll be spared she kills the lights and closes the door hoping it’s just a nightmare She feels her heart race Colour drains from her face screaming through the hallways she hears him closing in She feels his warm breath down the back of her neck hears his careful footsteps the knife against her skin She’s screaming for her friends now but it doesn’t make a difference she’s picking up her footsteps but it doesn’t make a difference He moves step by step each closer than the one before she screams “help, please help” as she struggles to open the front door She feels her heart race Colour drains from her face screaming through the hallways she hears him closing in She feels his warm breath down the back of her neck hears his careful footsteps the knife against her skin He feels her heart race he feels her heart

The evil has escaped, oh yes it is gone from here We let the monster free, may God forgive us He leaves a trail of ghosts and a dreadful atmosphere and the horror that our nightmares might outlive us He will kill again, oh yes he will He'll come for you and yours be sure to lock your doors He won't stop, and he cannot be killed Hide beneath your soiled sheets and pray for morning In no time at all the devil is home again His once abandoned house wakes, dark and haunted He's become more than a story for frightened kids The children called, and his bloody knife responded (Get up and run) He will kill again, oh yes he will (yeah, we thought we had him cornered) He'll come for you and yours be sure to lock your doors (the demon caught six bullets and kept coming) He won't stop and he cannot be killed (such a blank, relentless butcher) Hide beneath your soiled sheets and pray for morning.

Nightmare I 03:31
You wake up to a nightmare abandoned and bereft Was it triffids, plague or zombies? Is there really no one left? You roam an empty city coming to terms with its sad fate Are there really no survivors? Can it really be too late? So ends our joy and our sorrow (a hard lesson learned) Good-bye cruel world (oh, yes it slipped right through our fingers) There will be no tomorrow (just let it burn) Good-bye cruel world (there's really no reason to linger) Is there anybody out there? Can anybody hear this? Is there anybody out there? Please, come in For God's sake, come in!

Nightmare II 03:08
You wake up to a nightmare footsteps outside your door is it just the cat, or something else? Just darkness, nothing more You breathe a sigh of relief and then a chill runs down your spine there’s someone right behind you better run or else you’ll die

Come back here you black-eyed spider Won't you have a seat? I've always admired your way with people Would you like someone to eat? Tell me about the radiation that made you grow so big Was it your microwave, your cellphone or something more sinister? I love the way you crawl, black-eyed spider up your black and winding stair into your parlour with such alluring style in vogue and vile I love the way you dress, black-eyed spider You're on the cutting edge Dressed to kill and killing to eat We're all dead meat Come back here you black-eyed spider Won't you please explain? Do your desires respond to reason? Does your blood-lust have a name? Tell us about your perfect monster The haunter of our dreams Where current fashion meets antique atrocities and something more sinister I love your fatal bite, black-eyed spider and the venom in your smile but we're too young and pretty to die so pass us by Give up the ghost, black-eyed spider
6.
The Shape 04:03
I wait in the fog outside your house I know you’re alone, your parents went out I am the shape, I have escaped I’ve come for you, You cannot hide, you’re never safe I’m the breath on the other end of your phone I’m the man in the dark corners of your home I am the shape, you will not escape I am the hairs on your neck when you’re all alone Shivering all of your blood is running cold Death is waiting in my fingertips You are screaming for all of your friends can’t hear you now I can smell the fear it’s in your blood You’re afraid of the dark and the howling wind You’ve got goosebumps all along your skin You are afraid, you should not have stayed Alone in the dark, you are defenseless against my blade You live in the fabric of my dreams You keep me alive with your frightened screams You are my prey, you will die today You can run as fast as you can but you won’t escape I am the shape
